Welcome to the Barnes' Group! We are glad you're here.

 A little about us—we’re high school sweethearts who’ve been doing life together for a long time! We have three dogs who keep things fun and chaotic, and we love to cook, be outdoors, and explore new places whenever we can. Hospitality is a big part of who we are, and we want this group to feel like an extension of that—welcoming, safe, and real. 
This group exists for one simple, powerful purpose: to grow together in knowing God's Word and His character. We believe the Bible isn’t just a collection of ancient stories—it’s alive, personal, and meant to shape our everyday lives. As we dig into Scripture, our goal is to let it challenge us, encourage us, and ultimately lead us closer to Jesus.

This small group is one way we live out our church’s mission of becoming mature disciples of Christ. But we also know that spiritual growth was never meant to happen in isolation. Life is full of ups and downs, and God designed us to walk through every season together—encouraging one another, sharing burdens, celebrating wins, and growing side by side.

Come as you are. There’s no need to have it all figured out. Whether you're new to the Bible or you've walked with God for years, this is a place where you can belong, ask questions, and be open to the growth God wants to do in your life.
